Camouflage nets play an important role in frontline areas, helping to protect civilians and infrastructure. Despite their traditional military association, such nets are widely used for civilian purposes.
Camouflage nets reduce the visibility of schools, hospitals, volunteer centers, warehouses, volunteer vehicles and private homes to drones and aerial surveillance. This lowers the risk that civilian facilities may be mistakenly identified as military targets.
In addition, camouflage nets are used to cover equipment, generators and courtyards, create shaded areas, and lower stress levels for people living under constant threat. Such solutions help make life safer and more comfortable.
The organization Helpchain e.V. produces and delivers these nets to Ukraine on a weekly basis, but their production requires continuous purchasing of base mesh and fabric materials. Everyone can contribute by donating even a small amount.
